Black History Month with Books for Black Kids: Books for Educators—Cultural Competence and Social Reform
Books for Black Kids aims to empower Black children, strengthen Black families and communities, and improve outcomes for Black students. However, as a lot of that responsibility lies with schools, teachers, and public policies, the directory has dozens of books to help educators better educational outcomes and experiences for Black youth.
As such, this edition of BHM with BFBK is dedicated to cultural competence and social reform in education.
For more books for educators, visit the Books for Black Kids directory: Books for Educators. Also visit the Teaching Black Girls and Teaching Black Boys editions of the Black History Month with Books for Black Kids series.
